As usual Emily and I got to the break a bit late, however, it turned out to be the perfect time for us to surf. We haven’t been going very regularly so we felt a bit out of shape. We got to LM a an hour before low tide, but the waves weren’t closing out at several spots up and down the beach. We got suited up and headed out to an empty spot in the middle. We both got an immediate pay off and caught our first two waves in about 10 minutes. I was on my 6.8 and Emily was on her 7.3 Superfish. To my surprise I got several nice drops and standing rides. It’s been a while since I’ve been out on the 6.8, but it felt great. Awesome day!

Surfline PM Regional Overview: Mix of small NW windswell, building NW groundswell, and minimal SW swells. Most of the better NW exposed spots throughout the region are around 2-3′+ with standout breaks up to 4′ on sets. Expect a light bump/texture to it this afternoon from the light onshore flow.
