Hurt at HMB
Emily made the drop, got bonked, and received nine stitches just 2 cm from her left eye. I’m writing this 4 months after it occurred, and I still can’t talk about how I felt that day.

Windy but awesome day at HMB
Had a windy but nice surf today at HMB Jetty with Emily. Everywhere was blown out by the wind today except the Jetty. We got there about three hours after low tide and people at the north end were getting some nice green waves.
We went a bit south to catch some reforms. The swell period was awesome and the whitewater was great. I caught a bunch of awesome rides on my 9.0 and Emily also caught a bunch of waves on her superfish. We both had a great time!
