We had another beautiful day in Oahu today. We headed out a bit later than usual today as conditions were still sort of small with long periods between swells. About half way through the session I caught one really fast wave from the outside. It was so fast there was spray shooting up on both sides of my board.

Emily also caught a bunch of waves on her new board which was awesome! I’m glad she finally got a board that fit her abilities perfectly.

I also got a chance to say hello to surfing legend Tony Moniz. He was all smiles and full of aloha! Super nice guy. We also met Donald Takayama yesterday at Koa where Emily bought one of his fins. Also a super friendly guy.

As we started to paddle in from the outside I caught four more waves that took me right up to the beach. Perfect day! :)
