Today we finally met up with @surfergrrl (Cynthia) and @lkilpatrick (Luke) for a morning surf session at Linda Mar. We surfed with Luke once before a little over a year ago, however, we’ve never surfed with Cynthia. Emily and I have followed her surf exploits for over a year now. It was so nice to finally meet her, and her husband Scott. It was also very nice to surf up with Luke again after all this time.

When we got down to the docks we also saw Izzy in the line up. What a fun meet up! Most of LM was just one BIG close out, however, boatdocks still had some rights and lefts working. As a bonus there was only five or six other surfers down there. It was pretty soft today, but if I moved up a bit to the nose when paddling for a wave they were makable. Izzy gave me this tip, and Luke said the same thing to Emily. Having some friends in the water is great for tips like that.

As a bonus I caught a couple of nice rides today as did everyone else! Luke and Izzy both got barreled too.

After the sesh we headed over to FogFest were we finally met @birdswell, and purchased a few of her awesome tee-shirts. I can’t imagine a better day.
