Opensource Wiki in Rails With a Wysiwyg Interface - Groupswiki is a simple opensource wiki that uses wysiwyg editing to lower the barrier so that more people will write to the wiki. It uses protoedit -a richtext editor written using Prototype.js. It uses ruby on rails and should work with most backend databases.

The problem with such a feature is that it has to rely on a number of hacks because browser vendors basically never anticipated this need. Ext JS 2.0 - Ext is a client-side, JavaScript framework for building web applications. In early 2006, Jack Slocum began working on a set of extension utilities for the Yahoo! User Interface (YUI) library. These extensions were quickly organized into an independent library of code and distributed under the name yui-ext. In the fall of 2006, Jack released version .33 of yui-ext, which turned out to be the final version of the code under that name (and under the open source BSD license). By the end of the year, the library had gained so much in popularity that the name was changed simply to Ext, a reflection of its maturity and independence as a framework.

Simple Layout Manager with Prototype 1.6 - Aaron (Aaron @ ennerchi) ask me to develop a simple layout manager for a web application. First of all, I want to thanks him for accepting to release this layout manager in open source under MIT-license. This class is inspired by RUZEE.LayoutManager but based on prototype 1.6. RUZEE version was to slow on complex layout. It’s an unobtrusive script based on CSS classes.
